CREED.AI is the Center for Responsible, Evidence-based and Equitable Deployment of AI—a multidisciplinary institution focused on improving health through trustworthy implementation.

Our mission

People-centered AI for better care and better health.

We develop, evaluate, implement and scale responsible AI solutions that improve healthcare, public health and health-system performance.

Our work asks not only whether AI can perform, but whether it improves outcomes in real settings, uses resources wisely, earns trust and reaches people who have historically benefited last.

Why CREED.AI is needed

Too fast to trust.
Too slow to reach.

AI can harm when adopted without adequate evidence. It can also deepen inequity when a beneficial tool remains confined to pilots, elite institutions or well-resourced settings.

    Include underserved populations and low-resource settings in well-governed studies.

    Build local capacity, workflow fit, infrastructure and financing into every scale plan.

    Monitor after launch

    Track outcomes, harms, access, cost and sustainability—and publish what does not work.

Our ethical anchor

Primum non nocere

First, do no harm.

For CREED.AI, this duty is active: anticipate risk, test claims, listen to affected communities, disclose limitations, correct inequity and stop systems that fail people.

The phrase is a modern expression of the closely related duties found in the Hippocratic tradition. It guides our approach without substituting for modern ethics, regulation or community accountability.

Equity in practice

Vulnerable communities should not be the last stop.

People living in poverty, immigrants, refugees, Indigenous and tribal communities, rural populations and people served by safety-net systems often face structural barriers, workforce shortages and human bias.

CREED.AI works with—not merely for—communities to demonstrate whether AI can safely overcome those barriers and deliver the same or better quality of care without exploitation or inappropriate commercial use.

Time to equitable benefit is a core health outcome.

Dr. Nagesh N Borse

Dr. Borse is a CDC-trained epidemiologist, public-health executive and health-systems leader with more than 25 years of experience across government, global health, academia and industry.

He founded CREED.AI to help move responsible AI into real-world health practice and welcomes collaboration with communities, researchers, health systems and implementation partners.
